Hazardous Materials Building Survey

National Parks Service

Mabbett’s Tri-State Regional office was tasked, as a subcontractor, with completing a hazardous materials building survey at a maintenance building within the National Parks Service (NPS) Sandy Hook Unit Gateway National Recreation Area (NRA), Sandy Hook, New Jersey. The buidling was damaged during Hurricane Sandy.

This effort includes development of project plans, initial site survey to help define the survey and sampling program, implementation of the site survey and sampling program, and preparation of estimated quantities of hazardous building materials that will be subsequently used to develop the abatement scope and cost. As part of this effort Mabbett is also providing air quality modeling services that will be used in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessment (EA) document for the facility being prepared by others.
