History
Mabbett was founded by Arthur N. Mabbett and incorporated in Massachusetts
in 1980. The firm is a privately held Chapter “C” Corporation.
In 2007, Mabbett acquired the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Services Division of MasiMax Resources, Inc. in Reston, Virginia and established a Washington, D.C. presence. Mabbett’s growth continued with the opening of regional offices in Providence, Rhode Island in 2008 to enhance its New England presence and Paramus, New Jersey in 2012 to support projects in the Tri-State area.
Over the past 30-plus years Mabbett has become a nationally recognized and award winning firm dedicated to serving government, life sciences, industrial and high technologies, and institutions on a nationwide basis.
Mabbett is a US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE), verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) due to Arthur Mabbett’s nineteen years of meritorious service as a Major, Environmental Sciences Officer in the US Army both on active duty and in the Army Reserves.
