Job Summary
Serves as the firm’s Marketing and Business Development (MBD) Coordinator responsible for assisting with the daily implementation of the firm’s various MBD initiatives primarily for the Federal market. The successful applicant will work closely with the firm’s senior management. Responsibilities will include: management of the firm’s customer relationship management system, market research, identifying potential new clients for the firm and making initial telephone marketing-introductions on behalf of the firm, MBD performance tracking, meeting coordination, MBD material writing and preparation, administrative activities associated with the MBD program, and assists with the preparation of sources sought responses, proposals and comprehensive Federal government tenders. Skills Required

Safety & Health Specialist (SHS)

Job Summary:
A full-time position requiring safety and health and/or engineering experience to represent the interests of a Federal Agency in monitoring the safety and health conditions in accordance with various OSHA and NFPA Standards. The SHS will act as the liaison for, and at the direction of, the client to ensuring compliance with safety and health laws. The position is located on client site on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The position requires a mature candidate with solid interpersonal skills in order to work cooperatively with the government client and civil service personnel. Job Summary:
Senior Environmental Health and Safety Consultant to provide the leadership to help ensure that quality, timely and cost effective/value added work is executed by technical staff and that client needs are met. Serve as a group supervisor-mentor to a team of professionals and support the firm as a senior project manager.

As a senior technical professional provide professional-technical services to include: environmental, health, and safety consulting services; data collection and analysis; all aspects of auditing, regulatory permitting, and reporting; safety and industrial hygiene consulting; industrial hygiene/indoor air quality surveys; preparation and/or review of site safety plans; toxicology consulting; risk assessment reviews and evaluations; on-site technical services assistance to various clients of the firm; environmental management systems consulting and program development; field sampling protocol preparation, technical report preparation and/or review; occupational safety and health program development-preparation; training program development and training program presentation; client, regulatory and legal counsel coordination, and quality assurance/quality control technical review.

Provide marketing and business development support to the firm particularly to close opportunities to market Environmental Safety and Occupational Health services to new and existing clients for both industrial and government clients nationwide.

1. US Citizen or permanent work status.
2. BS or MS degree in Industrial Hygiene, Public Health or related science field.
3. Experience in consulting highly desired; Federal program experience a plus.
4. Must be certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) as a (CIH) Certified Industrial Hygienist. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) a plus.
5. Knowledgeable in Government regulations, professional association recommendations, risk communication, public outreach and negotiations.
6. Can operate Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Equipment.
7. Proficient in Microsoft desktop applications.

Regional Office Manager – National Capitol Region (NCR)

The firmis seeking a Senior Consultant to lead its growing Mid-Atlantic Regional Office in Reston, VA and to implement a focused marketing and business development (MBD) program.  This position offers excellent growth opportunity through existing Federal contracts and expanding private sector client needs.  

Job Summary:
This is a senior management position which will require developing and supporting new and existing government contracts and commercial customers.  Key attributes of the Regional Office Manager must include strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated client management and technical experience, and a proven track record as a Federal contract/project manager. Responsibilities include client and project management, marketing and business development and the ability to mentor and lead mid/junior level technical staff: 

 Specific responsibilities include:

• Lead efforts to capture new targeted contract opportunities in the NCR and Mid-Atlantic region.
• Support the design and lead the implementation of a Federal MBD program targeted to existing clients and current market opportunities in the NCR. 
• Provide technical leadership and serve in a Quality Control role.
• Supervise the activities of project staff and serve as a mentor to help optimize development and utilization of staff members.
• Develop project budgets and establish mechanisms to control expenditures and utilize resources to help ensure budgetary compliance.
• Prepare proposals and lead proposal capture teams.
• Assist and participate in strategic planning activities affecting the NCR and firm on a national basis.

 Qualifications:

• MS in Science or Engineering.
• Professional qualification in chosen field (e.g. P.E., QEP, CPG, CHMM, CIH, CSP, etc.).
• Minimum 10 years experience in increasingly responsible technical and leadership positions including project management experience.
• Proven track record in marketing and business development.
• Experience with proposal development with Federal proposal experience preferred.
• EH&S consulting experience preferred.
• Strong business-commercial acumen and a can do attitude.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. Citizen.
