Techno Bits Sustainable Energy Ireland Services for Business ProgrammeSustainable Energy Ireland (SEI), formerly Irish Energy centre was set up by the Irish Government in 2002 as Ireland's national energy agency. SEI aims to promote and assist the development of sustainable energy. SEI services are funded by the National development Plan 2007-2013 and partly funded by the European Union. Andy Lee and Ross Ramsay (Environmental Engineers at Mabbett & Associates Ltd) and Colin Clarke have been appointed as SEI Energy Advisors on the government funded, SEI Services for Business Programme. SEI are now providing free assistance to small to medium sized companies (subject to SEI approval) through their Services for Business This can include a site visit which will be carried out by an appointed SEI Energy Advisor and follow up report detailing strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs in your organisation. The programme's aim is to help companies to identify energy saving opportunities which will in turn enhance competitiveness, reduce costs and enhance environmental performance across Irish industry.
