Mabbett, B.A., M.S., P.E., QEP, R.S., CSP, CHCM, DAAS As president, Arthur has direct responsibility for overall company management, financial administration, project management, and technical review. He has extensive experience in environmental management and compliance auditing, employee/management training, consulting and engineering services in waste minimization/pollution prevention, environmental pollution control, site assessment and remediation, and occupational safety and health projects. Steinberg, B.S., P.E., LSP Paul is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm's United States operations, strategic planning, and marketing and business development activities. He will play a key role as the firm grows its new Federal Service Group as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. Paul is a 1985 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and in 2006 he obtained an M.S. in Marketing and Technological Innovation also from WPI. Smits, B.S., M.A., M.S., EIT, CHMM, TURP, CET As the Vice President of Operations for the Bedford, MA corporate office, Susan overseas technical project execution and has day to day operational responsibilities. She also provides senior technical support on a variety of environmental, health and safety engineering and consulting projects including permitting and reporting, auditing, regulatory enforcement, program development, training and other services provided by the firm. Susan also serves as the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council’s Co-Chair of the Safety Environmental & Facilities Committee. Prior to joining Mabbett, Susan served for nine years as an officer in the U.S. Air Force as a Bioenvironmental Engineer. Susan has a degree in Environmental Engineering and Hazardous Materials and Waste Management and she is a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Toxics Use Reduction Planner (TURP), and Certified Environmental Health & Safety Trainer (CET). His technical expertise includes geologic and hydrogeologic site investigation, NAPL recovery, soil venting, air sparging, and investigation and remediation of chlorinated volatile organic compounds. His project management experience includes the development of site closure strategies for active and inactive industrial facilities including former manufactured gas plants sites, and the development of remediation strategies to facilitate property redevelopment.
