Techno Bits/Technical Bulletins GENERAL - ARCHIVED EPA Region I Offers Public Works Assistance Program The EPA Region I Assistance and P2 Office located in Boston has launched a new self-audit initiative for municipal Departments of Public Works (DPWs). The initiative offers low inspection priority and penalty waivers (consistent with EPA's Audit Policy) to DPWs that register to participate by 10/1/01. EPA created various tools for this initiative, including a resource list, compliance checklist, and list of P2 tips specific to DPWs.
