Techno Bits/Technical Bulletins SITE ASSESSMENT AND REMEDIATION - ARCHIVED LSP Board Considers Issuing NONs to LSPS At MADEP's suggestion, the LSP Board is currently considering the issuance of Notices of Noncompliance (NONs) to LSPs who do not adhere to the Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) regulations and related statutes. The NONs are viewed by DEP as establishing a "lower level of enforcement" geared toward educating errant LSPs on MCP noncompliance matters. The LSP Board is expected to convene in March 2001 to discuss the viability and mechanics of issuing NONs.
