Techno Bits/Technical Bulletins SITE ASSESSMENT AND REMEDIATION - CURRENT Brownfields Update The United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) recently announced that New Bedford, MA and the Mystic Valley Development Commission, (Cities of Everett, Malden, Medford) MA had been selected as Showcase Communities in the U.S. EPA's Brownfields Initiative. Showcase Community designation provides opportunities for public and private partnerships to leverage incentives for the cleanup and economic redevelopment of contaminated property.
