Christopher L. Mabbett, PMP, CPG, PG

Vice President of Operations

Christopher serves as Mabbett’s Vice President of
Operations and is a key member of the Executive Management Committee. He
is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations, including
operational efficiency and for establishing a high standard of quality
assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for all project deliverables and
services. In addition, Chris directs all activities of the Site
Assessment and Remediation Group for the firm, including client
relationship management, project management and technical project
completion. Christopher has extensive experience providing environmental
site investigation/restoration, remedial system design and
implementation, hydrogeologic assessment, environmental compliance
reviews and emergency response.

Christopher has managed numerous groundwater monitoring and
remediation programs for municipalities, Federal agencies, and industry
and brings specific technical and regulatory expertise in designing
groundwater monitoring programs and interpreting groundwater data.
Christopher has served in responsible charge for the project management
of numerous complex sites. In addition, Christopher’s experience
includes inspection and assessment of remedial construction activities
including underground and aboveground storage tanks (USTs/ASTs)
removals, contaminated soil removal programs, and installation/start-up
of groundwater pump and treat, soil vapor extraction, chemical
oxidation, and bioremediation systems. Contaminant experience entails
petroleum, chlorinated solvents, PCBs, heavy metals, and cyanide

Christopher has lead and participated in numerous test boring and
groundwater monitoring well installations, as well as soil and
groundwater sampling programs to develop conceptual site models. He has
performed oversight of overburden and fractured bedrock aquifer
characterization via hydraulic pump testing, homeowner well sampling
programs and has provided community outreach to local stakeholders.  He
has expert knowledge of environmental regulations in Illinois, Maine,
Maryland, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Tennessee.
