31 August 2021 – Mabbett was awarded a contract with VA OCFM to provide environmental services in support the proposed new surgical/clinical tower and parking garage at the West Haven Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Haven, Connecticut.  Under this contract, Mabbett will provide VA engineers and decision makers with critical information to help assess and document existing environmental conditions, including the nature and extent of regulated building materials, cultural resources, traffic conditions, listed species, wetlands, floodplains, and hydrologic/stormwater considerations.  Mabbett will assist VA with stakeholder outreach, preparation of a NEPA-compliant Environmental Assessment, and public engagement.  The information will help VA select a preferred alignment among several alternatives for the proposed tower and garage.
